the lalala countdown

So last weekend, I went to do groceries, and as I lined up to pay for them, i saw a magazine with my Kylie on the cover.

I couldn't believe it. She was on the cover of Singapore's Women's Weekly.

When I got home, as I was busy with other stuff I just put it aside and decided to read it before going to bed. When I did I got the shock of my life, in a little note after the article it said,

"Kylie will perform in a 1-night gig at Singapore's Indoor Stadium on Nov. 25".

OMFG.

Like that was a dream come true. One more from the bucket list we can strike-through and consider done.

I frantically went to the website and saw they were selling already. That night I couldn't get the ticket. The site kept hanging, and I don't know if something was wrong with my credit card, but that night I juts couldn't get a ticket. I nearly lost sleep thinking bout it. I can't even decide what is the best seat.

Told my baby bout it first thing, who said "this is your year". I couldn't agree more. And the sweetest thing, was my baby tried to buy tickets for me too,meant to be a surprise. Hahaha. But couldn't complete the transaction because apparently you need my passpost number for it.


Anyway, 2 days later, I was able to book the ticket. Now, waiting to receive it on the mail.

I remembered in 2005 that I was supposed to go to Singapore to see her greatest hits tour.
It was supposed to be in November, and I made plans as early as August. 2 weeks later, our Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer at the start of the tour, and cancelled all shows entirely until she recovered.

Well, Kylie's back. Fully recovered. Better than ever. And like I reviewed, Kylie X, the new album just blew my socks away. They said this is the biggest show to date and I have seen some footage and it's amazing.

Anyway, November 25. One of my dreams will come true. After many, many years (ehem, is 30 too revealing eh?), I get to watch her live.

I am watching alone. I am thinking I will either a) cry for the most of it, b) pass-out, c) scream and shout like a crazy person, d) be escorted out by security because of c.
Anyway, so looking forward to it. Finally, k meets kylie.
