one stress-free sunday at a time

this is the weekend i finally get to rest. `ma cherie` and me have finally rekindled everything and are on the path to being together again. we spent saturday virtually, and i will forever be grateful to the advantages of skype and modern technology, as we compete with the 14 hour difference. Saturday was most productive, after my usual chores which I crammed in, i have declared Sunday as my first stress-free one.

today`s agenda was simply to get Zixy a new set of wipers. the rubber wore off one of the wipers after my first winter carwash disaster. the day after i couldn`t close my doors, and it took an hour long drying of the doors with a hairdryer to get it closed.

i haven`t bought a wiper my whole life. all i was equipped with was a measuring tape.
all i know was that one of the front ones was 22`inches long and the rear was 10 inches long.

i realized that there were so many choices, and the store I went to had 31 types of wipers. it took me awhile to decide, and finally gave in to the usual decision maker -- if it`s the most expensive, it must be the best one. so here is my pick, the Ultimate X.
Zixy`s first new year`s gift. Definitely worth every penny.




Got the store clerk to install it for free, as I was sure that if it were up to me, I will never get the thing attached. It seemed complicated enough, with the J hook, and how it was supposed to snap. Loved how it glided, and i« have never seen my windshield so clear. It was a good weekend, and I finally accomplished the mundane task i set out to do.


I plan to write again this year. This is for my beloved. I am in love with you truly and completely, and I must find the path to be my best self again for you.
