prends la vie comme il vient. to go with life as it unrolls.
those are the new words i`d live by. on a quiet Sunday afternoon, when I have nothing better to do but to go through each DVD we have and watch it again, i unfortunately had to start with `le divorce`. Very boring, very dull it was. The only thing charming about it is it`s set in France, and for some moments, it talked of love affairs, poetry and paintings.
it`s a derivative of living life one day at a time. perhaps that is the only way after all. why shall we oppose what is to happen, when everything happens for a reason.
in order to be happy again, we went through a rough time, a rough patch we can only look at behind us. I am glad we have withstood it all, and now the future is not only happier but tenfold brighter.
to end the day, i`ve decided to watch The Fellowship of the Ring, first shown in 2001.
like all good things, it never changes with time, it withstands it. Like me comprehending that i love you sixteen years ago and writing it on a piece of paper, we have withstood time.
let`s enjoy where we are now, and marvel where time has brought us. all my love to you ma cherie. prends la vie comme il vient.
