on this day in 1993, the greatest sorority of all time marks its anniversary
it began with a budweiser in a pisay dorm room 305 GRH main..
later all 9 exclusive members came to be known as dembuds..
from their motto "D.E.M." - Drink, Eat and be Merry + the "Bud" in budweiser..
it's been 15 years..this calls for a toast..

After all the drama (alala ko pa yung kay maita at sa kin dahil sa isang walang kuwentang male species, haha!), the good and the bad times, we're still intact. It's unbelievable! ReplyDeleteyah peng, meron akong feeling dormer moments. usually makikiusap mag overnight sa dorm manager pagkatapos bumili ng donut nya pra nsa good mood. hehehe
hahaha! sinong dorm manager to? si agnes? close kami dun ni maits, she lets us make telebabad dun sa dorm phone so yung ibang dormers di na nakakakagamit. si maits kasi, apat na oras kung makipag-usap sa phone. hahaha! i know, we're bad. alala ko right after nung dorm election nung 4th year eh rumampa kami sa sulo hotel at nanuod ng FOJ a.k.a. vanna vanna gig with rubs and maits. hahaha! iba na ang pres. :)

ReplyDeletehehehehe, long live agnes! yeah, i remember she let me sleep in her room so i could telebabad. hindi ko nga alam why she was so nice to me, given she had this mean reputation. but i was happy she was nice to us. definitely preferred her to vendil(?).

ReplyDeletewhich reminds me, na-miss ko yung PAGING system na patawa sa dorm..you could immediately guess kung sino ang telebabad sa phone kasi siya yung taga page...
hehehehe, luckily, i was doing telebabad late evenings, way after paging hours, so never had to do it, unless i was looking for francia, hehehe. oh god, i don't know what we talked about but i remember he convinced me to read The Hobbit which I completely hated, that's why I never read LOTR.
ReplyDeletemaita, may time pa na we watched this concert sa jasms tos dumaan tayo dun sa may bahay ni kalayaan kasi sa philam lang ata sila nakatira di ba? tos madaling araw dumerecho tayo sa wendys bago bumalik ng dorm. ahahahaha!

Reading the hobbit was a huge sacrifice I made in the name of love, hehehehehe. I had 20-something pages left to read, and di ko na talaga sya ma-take, so sinoli ko sya without knowing how it ended. What I remember from that book was a very, very, very, very long description of a meadow. Pages describing a freaking meadow!!! Never again.
