what sign are you?

Got a little excited over the new year. Even though the Chinese New Year is still in February, I couldn't help but look into the Chinese Astrology Calendar. Try http://chinese.astrology.com/

K is an Earth Horse:

Chinese Astrology

Thank goodness for open spaces, because the Horse needs plenty of room to roam! Energetic, good with money and very fond of travel, Horses are the nomads of the Chinese Zodiac, roaming from one place or project to the next. All of this Sign's incessant activity and searching may be to satisfy a deep-rooted desire to fit in. Paradoxically, Horses feel a simultaneous yearning for independence and freedom.

Horses crave love and intimacy, which is a double-edged sword since it often leads them to feel trapped. Love connections tend to come easily to Horses, since they exude the kind of raw sex appeal that is a magnet to others. This Sign tends to come on very strong in the beginning of the relationship, having an almost innate sense of romance and seduction. Horses are seducers in general; check out any A-list party and you're bound to find the Horse in attendance. This Sign possesses a sharp wit and a scintillating presence; it really knows how to work a crowd. Surprisingly, Horses tend to feel a bit inferior to their peers, a misconception that causes them to drift from group to group out of an irrational fear of being exposed as a fraud.

An impatient streak can lead Horses to be less than sensitive to others' needs. These colts would rather take a situation firmly in hand as opposed to waiting for others to weigh in or come to terms with it. The lone wolf inside the Horse can at times push others away, but this also makes this Sign stronger and is a key to its success. Horses are self-reliant and, though they might lose interest fast in a tedious, nine-to-five day job, are willing to do the work necessary to get ahead.

Horses tend not to look much at the big picture; instead they just follow their whims, which can result in a trail of prematurely ended relationships, jobs, projects and so on. This Sign really knows how to motivate others, though, and get a lot accomplished. Once they find some peace within themselves, they can curb their wandering tendencies and learn to appreciate what's in their own backyard.

The most compatible match for a Horse is the Dog or the Tiger.

(Hmmm, a little trivia Adriana was a Water Dog...)

About compatibility,

Horse and Dog

The Horse and the Dog have a fun, good-natured connection that can be quite mutually satisfying. Both are fun-loving, basically happy Signs (despite the Dog's occasional moodiness) and love an active social life. The Horse won't mind the Dog's occasional mood swings, being subject to them itself. The Horse possesses more raw magnetism than the Dog and is witty and charismatic, while the Dog spends less time on chit-chat and more on discussing the deeper topics that trouble or inspire its heart. This quality is likely to be attractive to the Horse, who possesses general knowledge of a wide base of subjects and always wants to learn more.

As lovers, these two aren't likely to spend much time at home alone together; theirs may be a relationship of perpetual dating! If so, it's likely to be just fine for both of them. Both Signs, but especially the Horse, like constant stimulation and variation. The Horse doesn't generally stay in a love affair long-term, since its preferences are so mercurial, but may truly enjoy life with the Dog. The Horse responds well to a mystery and the Dog's occasional mood swings and flares of temper or pessimism are plenty mysterious and interesting enough for the Horse. These two are likely to share a strong physical connection and won't be able to wear one another out, though they may try.

Those of you born under the influence of the Chinese Astrology Element of Earth are wise, serene and prudent, firmly rooted in your morals, ethics and responsibilities. Led by logic rather than emotion, you seek to plan your life as far out in advance as possible, to expect the unexpected and control your destiny down to the last detail. Your disciplined reserve -- which can come across as true grace if you work it right -- garners you respect and admiration.

You're so bound by logic and dependent upon controlling your situation that you have a fear of the unknown. Consequently, you question your instincts, distrusting even your most cherished dreams and seeing your whims as frivolous distractions. Don't be a stick in the mud, Earth Signs; share your wisdom and your peace of mind with a needy world.

2008 is the Year of the Earth Rat. Who knows what it brings? The Yearly Horoscope said I had 3 neutral months and 9 unfavorable months. What???!! Hmmm..it's good that I don't believe in that part of fortune telling. I do believe the way your element and animal instinct affect your personality, and as a result, your compatibility.

But in this new year, I will not be a Horse chasing after a Dog..

I am a Dog looking for a Fox ;-D

So, what sign are you?
