i got my gift from my one a couple of weeks back.
she said she got me the new Kylie cd when it went out July 4.
i probably was one of the first ones to get it.
if you don't know it yet, i have an extensive Kylie collection. I have all of her albums and dvds. I saw her live in Singapore in 2008.
when she sent it out, i saw the package tracker and waited for it to arrive.
imagine my surprise when apart from the cd box, the postman gives me another one.
it was a blue box with a card that said do not open yet.
because i have the emotional quotient of a 2 year old. i opened it as soon as i got it. hahaha. my one surprised me with a sleek new camera. woohoo.
that's a perfect gift for my blog. everyone knows i take pictures of everything.
what warms my heart is the effort to find the perfect gift. the surprise was really something. she has always been great at this. i remember last year when she did a similar thing. no one can reduce me to mush like she can. :)
a couple of days before i left for here, we did some mall errands. she gives me this in the car. The book from my favorite writer, the one i've been always searching every bookstore we go to. Isn't that something? She found the book I've been looking for forever.
That's something, something. Really wonderful. Like finding my one after 13 years. :)
