the dog wears prada

my constant companion these days is a dog named prada.
he's a foot long chihuahua and he weighs 5 pounds.
but he acts like a big dog, he's very smart and should i say very fashionable?

he's in summer wear now - he wears tank tops, billabong surf shirts, and lots of light-colored little shirts. he has sandals too. yes four of them in leather. hehe. i'll upload pics when he's in full dress-up gear. right now he just wants to be cool. the sun is too hot. :)




in winter, he's got a burberry coat with a hoodie and snow shoes. that's really something.

he has his own miniature leather sofa bed, but he prefers our sofa of course. he really rules this roost. he's after all the baby in our family.



i always say that you can tell how much you love someone or something by the number of nicknames you give them. For Prada, it goes like this:

1. Prada - when he's about to be scolded
2. Little - when you call him to come in, when he's in the yard.
3. Munchkin, Munchkinie - when you just want to make him excited, and show some love
4. Pradoo - when you're joking around with him, and hiding his toy
5. Pradushka - I gave him this name, this is his russian name, so he can be tough too

i think this list will go on and on and on.
he does look different when he has a different shirt.
you just can't resist giving him another name. hehe.

he can sing (when you're doing the indian call). he can sit (when he's begging for food). he can sleep all day. but when he wakes up he can really stretch (like yoga style). the odd thing about him is he prefers vegetables over meat. he likes peas and carrots and cabbage.

i guess this is the modern day pet. yoga-loving, vegetarian and fashionable.

i wish to be more like him. he's got it going on. hehe :)
